We’re always looking for a place to wear the designer outfit we blew two paychecks on, but we’ll admit that Gucci is a little much for sipping beers at a Red Sox game or cheering on the Celtics. Lucky for us, we can wear our trendy splurges to Felt (533 Washington Street, Boston, 617.350.5555) for their newest fashion celebration, Couture Thursdays. Mingle with a new designer each week and sip a few cocktails while you’re at it. On the 22nd, enjoy a creative display of hot new streetwear line Anarchy, then break out your best outfit on the 29th, when Boston designer Caroline Saconne shows off her Catalina Fashion line at a Sex and the City night. Guests will also have the chance to purchase clothes and other items. The event is 21-plus and takes place on Felt’s nightclub level. The night runs Thursdays from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. and admission is $5; RSVP (at www.going.com/feltcouturethursdays) and get in free until 11 p.m.
