She's from Florida, he's from England - at first glance, not much in common. But when Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince met in a South London hotel, the duo realized they were melodious kindred spirits. (Both went to art school and obsessed over the Velvet Underground.) Thus the Kills and their brand of gritty, edgy indie punk rock were born.
