IN MANY WAYS, Suzanne Cats is in the flirting industry. Her Newbury Street shop LuxLash, which opened in 2006, helps women add a little flirt to their lashes with fun and exotic extensions (the "mink" version is her favorite). This time of year, she's used to giving women a new set of no-fail conversation starters. And her business is growing: she now offers services at Salon Mario Russo and hopes to build boutiques in New York, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles in the next few years. So does the lash queen get downtime? As she puts it: "Is there such a thing?"
@ 6:15 p.m.: The spa closes at 7 p.m., so my day doesn't end until then.
@ 7:30 p.m.: Weeknights are a mix of events; if I'm in a meeting over dinner, I'm at a good chop house. You know, places that are conducive to talking about business, like Aquitaine.
@ 9:45 p.m.: By now, I may be out with friends with a good white in hand. The South End always seems to win with options. I love discovering all different types of new wines.
@ midnight: Dancing? YES! Love to ... but usually only [if I'm] at an event. I would love to find good places to go.
@ 2 a.m.: Unless I'm prompted by more wild friends, 2 a.m. evenings are very limited. I'm usually at home trying to get some beauty sleep for the next day.
