Scorpion bowls are so sophomore year - but we have to admit they're a great way to get a party started. For a more grown-up take, we love the oversized Buddha Bowls ($450) being served at Mantra (52 Temple Place, Boston, 617.542.8111). The drinks are available with three liquor bases - Belvedere vodka, 10 Cane and Malibu Mango rums, and Bombay Sapphire gin - and feature assorted juices and fruits. Mixed together in front of your eyes and sipped through long straws, Buddha Bowls provide the equivalent of 15 to 20 drinks - though we suggest you avoid inviting any friends known for speedy slurping. It's worth returning often, too: the cocktail list is regularly revamped, and flavors are changed seasonally.
