Party like it's 2008

For some, New Year's Eve is a Champagne-fueled best night ever; for others it's a complete disappointment. And with so many events to choose from, making a plan can get tricky. Some of our favorites? Party with the high rollers at the Bringing Down the House: Viva Las Vegas bash at Estate (1 Boylston Place, Boston, 617.351.7000), or head to Felt (533 Washington Street, Boston, 617.350.5555) for the Far East Experience - sushi bar and geisha performance included. Feed your Bohemian side at the Beehive (541 Tremont Street, Boston, 617.423.0069), where there'll be burlesque performances and gypsy fare, or go incognito at the New Year's Eve Masquerade at Revolution Rock Bar (200 High Street, Boston, 617.261.4200). Peek into the future at the Crystal Ball at Croma (269 Newbury Street, Boston, 617.247.3200), with the help of tarot readers and fortune tellers, or celebrate under the stars (or at least the planned light show) at Starry Night at the Boston Center for the Arts (539 Tremont Street, Boston, 617.426.5000). If you're looking to kick the new year off with a bang, we suggest paying a visit to the Hard Rock Café (22-24 Clinton Street, Boston, 617.424.ROCK) for Rock in 2008 with Bang Camaro. Want more? See page 58 for a complete listing of NYE events.
