We've been dying to dish about the Fort Point neighborhood's newest restaurant/retail concept, the Achilles Project (283 Summer Street, Boston) - and now that its owners are setting their sights on a December 15 opening, we finally can. The brainchild of Michael Krupp and Shaka Ramsay, the gorgeous brick-and-beam warehouse space houses Achilles (617.423.ACLS), a boutique carrying designer apparel, accessories, and more, and Persephone (617.695.2257), a 76-seat restaurant helmed by chef Michael Leviton of Newton's beloved Lumière. Achilles, which emphasizes first-class service, carries a number of higher-end lines (Opening Ceremony, Filippa K., Earnest Sewn, and Rogues Gallery, among others) along with its own selection of Achilles-branded items. Persephone takes inspiration from local, seasonal, and sustainable products whenever possible; Leviton has created a number of small plates and larger, sharable dishes meant to be enjoyed by a group. The space also includes a lounge that will feature fresh cocktails and a funky atmosphere.
