“REWIND: The Paradise Lounge Gallery Five-Year Anniversary Retrospective” at the Paradise Lounge Gallery

THROUGH NOVEMBER 30
The Paradise Lounge (969 Comm Ave, Boston, 617.562.8820) is, first and foremost, a place to worship the musical gods. But for the past five years, the space has doubled as a haven for artists of the more visual realm. Now, the Paradise Lounge Gallery is hosting "REWIND: The Paradise Lounge Gallery Five-Year Anniversary Retrospective" to showcase the work of more than a dozen local artists who've previously exhibited their art in the space. Through the end of the month, check out Kerry Israel's black-and-white drag photography from her series "Girls on Film," ponder the religious icons of Josh Michtom's "Somerville Madonnas," and swoon over the rock photos of Paul Robicheau and Kelly Davidson and concert posters created by Mister Reusch, MCA, Tadpole, and Pete Cardosa. If there happens to be a brilliant new artist onstage as you browse, all the better. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.
