Ophelia Muradian started modeling at age 17 and quickly turned it into a full-time career. Originally from Minsk, Belarus, she decided to put off school until she'd gotten her fill of work and travel. Now 23, Muradian is about to complete her degree in music education at UMass-Boston and still finds time for photo shoots and modeling jobs throughout New England. But though 5 a.m. wake-up calls and 15-hour days may be the norm, after dark, she's ready to kick back and hang out with friends.
@ 6:15 p.m.: My focus in school is the piano, and I have to practice a lot before I graduate, so I'll be in the music studio until about 7.
@ 7:30 p.m.: I usually stop by the agency [Maggie, Inc. on Newbury Street] and check out my schedule or talk to my agent. Then, if it's a laid-back night, I'll go to Sonsie for a martini and their mussels, which are so, so good. I also love Boston Public. I think I've tried everything on their menu. I'm picky, but the steak frîtes is amazing.
@ 9:45 p.m.: For dinner I'll go over to Douzo with my friends. We're there about once a week.
@ midnight: I love going to Stella late at night for a couple of drinks. I almost always run into friends there.
@ 2 a.m.: If it's Saturday and I feel like dancing, I'll hang out at Mantra until they close.
