The Seaport District is expanding yet again with the city's second Morton's, The Steakhouse (2 Seaport Lane, Boston, 617.526.0410), which opens its doors on November 2. The new location is sure to appeal to the corporate set, convention-goers, and other carnivores who'll no doubt be pouring in from neighboring 'hoods. While the menu is the same as at the Back Bay location (though lunch is also being served), the space has a different feel: airy, light, and with lots of windows - which makes sense, considering its gorgeous harbor views. The new Morton's features the restaurant's devotion to wine; it adds a spectacular glassed-in, climate-controlled wine room that further emphasizes its prominence. A spacious outdoor patio and an atrium space accommodating up to 300 are planned for a spring debut.
