Sandy Poirier@Night: Hair apparent

AFTER THREE short years, rock-star hair warrior Sandy Poirier is already revamping Shag, his South Boston salon. This fall, he'll double its size to make room for more late-night hair sessions and other fun additions that he's not quite ready to divulge. In the meantime, he's turned his talents to the turntable: this month, he's a guest DJ at the Estate. When you can't catch him there, you'll find him on his motorcycle, cruising around town.

@ 6:15 p.m.: I would never be out by 6:15. Maybe more like 7:15. And it's usually a Tuesday when I get a night off, so I'll get out my motorcycle, grab a great-looking girl, and go to Stella in the South End for dinner.

@ 7:30 p.m.: After dinner, I might take a ride down Storrow or Memorial for a view of the Charles.

@ 9:45 p.m.: We'll stop by Sonsie to get a drink and see my cousin Bill Poirier, who's the chef there. He'll try to send over some bread pudding. Then we head over to Heart Throb. I can't tell you where it is, but if you're in the know, I'll see you there.

@ midnight: Heart Throb is sort of like a video dance explosion with a melting pot of different people. I'll dance, I'll sweat. It's really incredible. We'll stick around until they close at 1.

@ 2 a.m.: I like to have after-hours at the salon, so we always have some bottles of Champagne chilled and, if I feel like it, there might be a few special haircuts to go around.
