Ever since Stella McCartney launched that line for Adidas, we knew workout wear was destined to become the next big thing in party garb. Okay, maybe not - but we're still excited to don our favorite spandex ensemble (yes, it is encouraged) for the Launching Your Life Party at 28 Degrees (One Appleton Street, Boston, 617.728.0728), happening today from 4 to 7 p.m. Hosted by Equinox Fitness, the event benefits the Esplanade Association; it's also the after-party for the group's first 5K run, held to raise funds to beautify the park. Sip 5K Frozen Bellinis, enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres, and indulge in the calf and neck massages being offered -whether you participated in the run or not. Guests will also take home gift bags with, among other goodies, trial memberships to Equinox (131 Dartmouth Street, Boston, 617.578.8918), and raffle winners will score three-month, all-access passes to the gym.
