SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 - TUESDAY, JANUARY 1, 2008
You have them all TiVo-ed: CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York - hell, you'd watch CSI: Peoria if the body count was high enough. Now's your chance to get in on the action. "CSI: The Experience," which makes its East Coast debut at the Museum of Science (Science Park, Boston, 617.723.2500), allows visitors to play forensic scientists without the occupational hazards - crappy hours, unflattering office attire, death threats, etc. Gather evidence at the exhibit's three crime scenes (city alley, suburban home, woodland area), then analyze your data in two state-of-the-art crime labs, where you can study everything from blood splatters and ammo casings to cell phones, clothing fibers, and paint chips. When you've finished, you'll answer a series of multiple-choice questions, generate a case study, and proceed to a video evaluation by the show's lead investigator, Gil Grissom. The exhibit's timed tickets ($23 for adults) include admission to the Main Exhibit Halls and are valid for six months; get them at www.mos.org or 617.723.2500.
