Hard to handle

As the Hard Rock Café Boston’s first ever full-time marketing manager, Lelle Lutts has her work cut out for her. The newly opened Faneuil Hall location looks to be the country’s third largest Hard Rock and promises to put local talent on stage as often as five nights a week. But Lutts is no stranger to wrangling first-class acts; her jobs with Maverick Records and Island Def Jams had her working with Madonna, Bon Jovi, and Nickelback right out of college. And although she’s booking shows and hobnobbing with musicians most nights, when she gets one to herself, she happily trades rock stars for the Red Sox and a night out in Cambridge.

@ 6:15 p.m.: There’s no way I’ve left the building by now. I may sneak out for an hour, but my day’s not over yet.
@ 7:30 p.m.: If there’s a Red Sox game on, I’ll head over to Cambridge Common. It is, by far, the best place to watch a game. The staff is amazing; their pub grub is the best; and it’s the best beer selection you can get. I drink Jack and Coke myself, but I love to bring people here for the selection.
@ 9:45 p.m.: The West Side Lounge is right across the street and they have some amazing martinis. Plus, I love the vibe there, so it’s a great place to end the night.
@ midnight: I’m either thinking about heading home or I’m already there.
@ 2 a.m.: No matter how many cocktails I’ve had, I always check e-mails and have to plan out the next day before I go to bed. Then I might read until I go to sleep. There’s nothing going on at my place when it’s this late, so this is my quiet time.
