Have your cake … and your other two courses, too

There’s nothing like a great summer sale to nudge us to buy those strappy sandals we’ve been coveting. But when it comes to food, the only deals we seem to find come in the form of slice-and-soda specials from the dingy neighborhood pizza joint. Fear not, Beantown foodies: the return of Restaurant Week is right around the corner and, for the second year in a row, you can eat twice your fill. Between August 5 and 10 and again from August 12 through 17, more than 150 restaurants in Boston, Cambridge, and beyond will feature three-course prix-fixes lunches, dinners, or both. This year’s participants include some of our favorites, including L’Espalier, OM, and Brasserie Jo. Three-course lunches will go for $20.07, and three-course dinners for $33.07, excluding beverages, though some restaurants will serve drink specials for the event. Visit the Restaurant Week website for a full list of participants, their menus, and online reservation links.
