Look good, do good, feel good

Two things that make us feel great about ourselves for completely different reasons: high fashion and philanthropy. The two collide on May 9 for the Sisterhood: Taking a Stand with Style luncheon and fashion show. Held in the Infinity Pool Court at the Natick Collection (1245 Worcester Street, Natick, 508.655.4800) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event showcases the fall 2008 collection from Carmen Marc Valvo, who’ll be making a guest appearance. In addition to the catwalk action, attendees will enjoy a catered luncheon, a handbag silent auction (we’re talking Prada, Valentino, and Yves Saint Laurent), a luxury raffle, and swanky gift bags. Proceeds benefit Ovations for the Cure, a nonprofit that supports ovarian-cancer awareness, research, and treatment.
