Hilken Mancini, formerly of Honeyspot and, before that, Punk Rock Aerobics, has joined up with vintage shop Gumshoe, now known as 40 South Street (40 South Street, Jamaica Plain, 617.522.5066). Got all that? Good. The shop has added a women's section - for 25 years, they only sold men's vintage fashions - and freshened things up with a few coats of paint, better lighting, and new stock. Their hours have expanded, too: doors are open on Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 7 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays from noon to 5. Swing by any time in March for their month-long (or longer, if the mood strikes them) sale: everything is 20 percent off, and your third item is 50 percent off. Why aren't you on your way?
