Clydesdale Cowboys at the Cantab Lounge

Country music doesn't always draw the biggest crowds here in Massachusetts, but given the musical style and showmanship of the Clydesdale Cowboys, it's hard to understand why. The band - JR, Kitty, Ringo, Hop Along, 88 Fingers, and Sidewinder Clydesdale - returns to the Cantab Lounge (738 Mass Ave, Cambridge, 617.354.2685) tonight to rock your country-loving socks off. Though their Web site - which claims they're bank robbers, chain-gang members, and prone to alcoholism - says they're on the run from the law, that only gives us more reason to drink a beer with the bunch of 'em. The show starts at 10 p.m.; tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the door.
