Even the best cocktail lists need an update from time to time - and the quirky, high-energy, delicious list at Match (94 Mass Ave, Boston, 617.247.9922) is no exception. The restaurant's management brought in the big guns, hiring world-renowned bar consultant Grant Collins, who's based in Sydney, Australia, to get the job done. Collins created 14 new martinis for Match using a cutting-edge molecular mixology technique. The Butterscotch Bliss, Apple Blossom, and Match Espresso Martini are all topped with airy, no-cal foams (butterscotch and cinnamon, lemongrass, and sweet espresso, respectively); we also adore the Framboise for its fresh raspberries and the Peppered Pineapple for its unique blend of flavors. Collins kept a few favorites around, too, including the Pop Rocks-rimmed Pop Culture and the Mango Shizzle. All signature martinis are $12.
