Four Stories at the Enormous Room

by Heather Bouzan, 11-14-2007

MONDAY, DECEMBER 3
If you're the books-on-tape type, we suggest you trade in your headphones for something a little more social: local literary series Four Stories tonight at the Enormous Room (567 Mass Ave, Cambridge, 617.491.5550). The evening's theme, "The Bitter End: Stories of Loss, Endings, and Final Acts," is fitting, since this event concludes the series' fall season; founder Tracy Slater takes the readings to Japan for the winter months before resuming here in March. Authors Jeremiah Healey, Drew Johnson, Julia Glass, and Joan Wickersham share selections of their work from 7 to 9 p.m.; arrive early to catch the musical stylings of a local DJ. Four Stories events are free and open to the public; if you miss out, mp3s of the readings are posted at www.fourstories.org.
