WHEN ONE thinks of eco-fashion, it's easy to imagine hemp clothing and patchouli oil. But though the hippie-chic look works for some, it's nice to know that these days there are plenty of other eco-friendly options for the environmentally conscious fashionista. Celebrities are sporting and supporting lines like Edun (made famous by Bono's wife); even stores such as Barneys New York and Intermix are carrying select green-friendly fashions. Envi, Boston's only entirely eco-friendly boutique, opened its doors this year on Newbury Street; it's fully stocked with luxe cashmere, high-end organic cotton denim, trendy eveningwear, and much more. Go team green!
