There's more to report from the world of the James Joseph Salon (30 Newbury Street, Boston, 617.266.7222) and Studio (168 Newbury Street, Boston, 617.266.6600). Owner William George's second Studio is on track to open in early September at 16 Earhart Landing in Medford's Wellington Circle. Its warm, modern interior (designed by the team behind Douzo) houses 13 chairs; and select stylists from the Newbury Street Studio will either split their hours or move to Medford full time. In other news, the Salon is undergoing an interior overhaul, coming away with an updated color scheme, sinks from Italy, and a new front desk; also, Balance by James Joseph, George's new product line, will most likely debut in time for the holiday shopping season.
